There are four key elements that are most often overlooked when it comes to putting together a disability insurance product for physicians and professionals.

  1. Mental and Nervous Disorders: what are the proper definitions the carrier should use
  2. Residual/Partial Benefits: If you were only restricted to work 1/2 days. you should get 1/2 day of benefits
  3. Cost of Living Rider
  4. Guaranteed Physical Insurability: If you are young, you want to make sure that you can be covered as you age if you need to make a change to your policy later in life.

As I explain further in this short video,  these four areas and more should be discussed when building a disability plan that will last you a lifetime.  Learn more in my quick video….
